O filme Coraline baseia-se no livro de Neil Gaiman, editado em 2002.

A Asociación Cultural e Pedagóxica Ponte… nas Ondas! com a colaboração da Consellería de Cultura e Deporte, a Delegação Regional de Cultura do Norte de Portugal (DRCN) e a Direcção Regional do Norte (DERN) promoveram até Maio de 2008 o II Certame de Recolla da Tradición Oral. O nosso agrupamento participou nesse certame tendo ganho dois prémios: o primeiro prémio no valor de 1000€, para a escola sede e o segundo prémio no valor de 500€, para o Jardim de Infância. O valor desses prémios destina-se à aquisição de diferente material para a Biblioteca.

Já foi encontrado o vencedor do concurso “Postais de Natal”, promovido pela Junta de Freguesia de Santa Maria. O primeiro lugar foi para o aluno Daniel Guerreiro do 7º B, que recebeu um diploma. A biblioteca da nossa escola recebeu três livros de oferta: Inez, Inez! de António Afonso A lenda da Princesa da Torre de António Afonso O sumo das pedras de Bragança de Pêra Fernandes Ao vencedor os nossos parabéns.

O Ano Internacional da Astronomia 2009 (AIA2009) é uma iniciativa a nível mundial com fins pacíficos: a busca da nossa origem cósmica, uma herança comum de toda a Humanidade. A Astronomia é também o resultado de colaborações científicas que ultrapassam todo o tipo de fronteiras, quer elas sejam geográficas, de género, de idade, cultura e raça em. Neste sentido, a Astronomia é um exemplo paradigmático de como a ciência pode contribuir para aprofundamento de colaborações internacionais. O objectivo do AIA2009 é ajudar as pessoas a redescobrir o seu lugar no Universo através da observação astronómica diurna e nocturna.
